Massage Hot Rocks
Massage hot rocks can be placed on the back, between the fingers, between the toes, or used to massage the body in a Swedish technique. Amongst other ailments, stone massage therapy is effective for the relief of pain, fatigue and stiffness, the improvement of blood circulation and the promotion of relaxation.
Mary Hannigan introduced massage with hot rocks in 1993, giving it the trademarked name of LaStone Therapy. Since then, the technique has become popular and many spas have created their own versions of the process. Stone massage sessions can be conducted hot or cold depending on the client's needs.
